I am a mechanical engineering graduate from NIT Agartala with over 4.5 years of diverse work experience in the manufacturing and automotive sectors. I began my career at Saint-Gobain India, where I was responsible for tracking and improving plant reliability indicators, identifying and executing Standard Kaizen projects, managing spare parts inventory, and working collaboratively to resolve equipment breakdowns and minimize production loss. My work there was deeply rooted in World Class Manufacturing techniques aimed at operational excellence. I later joined Maruti Suzuki as an Assistant Manager in the body shell design division, where I was identified as a Star Performer and subsequently promoted to Senior Associate Manager, a recognition of the impact I was able to create. In this role, I led the end-to-end design and development of vehicle body systems, delivering weight and cost optimized designs while managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. I was also responsible for initiating and tracking sourcing activities and addressing supplier issues to ensure seamless project execution. I am currently pursuing my MBA at XLRI Jamshedpur, seeking to build on my strong engineering and operations foundation with broader business and leadership capabilities. I am driven by a passion for solving complex problems through innovation, and I firmly believe that a balance of analytical thinking and empathy is the key to effective leadership.
