Honeybees Committee
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the 5S KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT PORTAL
- Ensuring the capture and in-putting of 5S BEST PRACTICES across all 5S sub-areas and zones into the KM PORTAL
- Disseminating 5S Knowledge through the KM portal by special promotions and pop-ups
- Making available the contents of and setting up the 5S KM PORTAL of XLRI JAMSHEDPUR to future campuses of XLRI
- Making the KM PORTAL also the digital publicity platform of initiatives taken by the Publicity Committee
The concept of 5”S”was introduced to XLRI by our Alumni Mr John Chiramal. XLRI is at this juncture where in, we intend to grow to 5 more XLRI’S out of one which is currently based out of Jamshedpur. The idea is to implement 5S successfully at the Jamshedpur campus and then let it percolate to other upcoming campuses. The practise of 5”S” is being implemented to maintain similar levels of excellence across all campuses. We honey bees intend to first identify all the”BestPractices”that have been undertaken different zones. We will then highlight and share the Best Practices adopted by different zonal champions and share it on the K M portal.
