DRACULA (Dramatics and Cultural Association of XLRI)
To promote the artists on campus, be it dance, drama, fine arts, creative writing, debate, or quizzing. In a place like XLRI, where one dons business formals to parties, where ironically enough one forgets the concept of time trying to meet deadlines, where days and nights coalesce into a sleepless astral plane, the aspirants here turn into dreamers every now and then. The Dramatics and Cultural Association of XLRI, better known as DRACULA the cultural representative committee at XLRI is the entity responsible for providing these suit-clad dancers, writers, artists, quizzers, debaters, and actors with breaths of inspiration. The five namely Dance, Dramatics, Fine Arts, Literature and Debating, and Quizzing, conduct a number of activities and events each month for the interest groups they head. Each possesses a strength of 40+ dedicated members, who relentlessly work to advance their particular activities within XLRI. However, it is not limited to that when it comes to the committee. DRACULA also conducts its flagship intra-XL events such as the Weekender, Prom, and Open Mic. Team DRACULA also collaborates with various other committees at XLRI, to provide a best-in-class cultural peel-through into events happening at XLRI. It is the place for all the creative people who roam the halls of XLRI.
