SAPPHIRE, HR Committee of XLRI will be hosting 11th National HR Conference

SAPPHIRE, the HR Committee of XLRI is the Student Association for Promotion of Personnel Management, Human Resources and Industrial Relations. Sapphire is all set to host its flagship event for the year, The 11th National HR Conference on the 19th and 20th of February, 2022. The National HR Conference is SAPPHIRE’s flagship event with a history of over a decade, hosting industry stalwarts, CHRO’s, hands on sessions, academic interactions and so on staying true to XLRI’s legacy in promoting the field of Human Resource, educating and garnering interest in towards the same. The 11th National HR Conference, in line with a rich history, is a great opportunity for students and industry delegates to gain valuable insights about the industry climate and important trends from HR experts before they proceed for their summer internships.

Keeping up with the pertinent trends in the business climate, the theme for the Conference is Crafting Transient Workplaces: HR Tenets on Balance, Performance and Productivity. The 11th National HR Conference is going to be a one stop platform that offers panel discussions that witness discussions among industry veterans and HR Leaders from diverse industries. This is an endeavor to bring together the stalwarts from academia, industry, and activism to discuss the varied aspects of the HR function in shaping the strategic arena for the organizations in future. The Conference is definitely a culmination of multiple segments that intends to platform all things HR.

The first panel discussion scheduled on 19th February, 2022 is “Managing Disruptions in Workflow: Finding a Balance between Flexibility and Sustainability.” The panel seeks to dive into the omnipresence and inevitability of workflow disruptions. The second panel discussion scheduled on 20th February, 2022 is “The Great Resignation: Lasting Ripples on The Future of Work.” The Great Resignation, or ‘The Big Quit’ recorded a historic number of employees leaving their jobs during the pandemic. In India, the technology sectors are already witnessing the effects of The Great Resignation with record attrition rates, and other industries are fast following suit.
