AXIOM - Association at XLRI for Industrial and Operations Management
With dissolving geographical boundaries and an increasingly global economy, achieving operational efficiency is of utmost importance to every industry and economy. Operations Management is hence a key component of managerial expertise today.
AXIOM is an initiative by the students and Operations faculty of XLRI to gain insight into the intricacies of industrial & operations management. It is a society dedicated to the propagation of operations management knowledge and building student expertise around it. We attempt to spread awareness and understanding of international best practices in managing production processes and delivering services through organizing seminars, guest lectures, live projects and plant visits. We further intend to contribute to the industry as a body of students and experienced faculty, by providing a platform for industrialists to share thoughts through seminars and the AXIS newsletter.
