Workshops
These are one or two-day sessions conducted by well-known consulting firms and freelance consultants where student-teams are exposed to the diagnostic tools used by consultants and the skills required for a consulting career.
Guest Lectures
Asterix will invite academicians to expose student to cutting-edge concepts in the field of strategy. Senior managers and consultants from industry will be invited to share the "best practices" being followed by their organisations.
Consulting Assignments
Asterix made a start in this area by handling a consulting project from a small-scale industry in Jamshedpur in the first year of its inception. The Center for Small Enterprises set up last year is another step forward in our endeavor to get consulting projects for students. The emphasis is on giving students a real life exposure to entrepreneurial ventures and the strategic management issues involved in them.
Panel Discussions involving experienced speakers from industry and academia to discuss various debatable issues in the areas of strategic management and entrepreneurship.
Workshop on case analysis to be conducted by a senior academician/industry expert in the area of strategic management.
